Skiing always been part of my life since I was 3 years old back growing up in a small town in Québec, I was never a very competitive person as I didn’t have the self-esteem to believe in myself. From this life experience, what I wish for our youth is to believe in themselves, believe that anything is possible that they put their mind into. This is why I became a ski coach/instructor 9 years ago, I love been on my ski at any time and condition, I love the feeling of heating gates in a slalom course, to the speed of GS and tucking down a race course, the deep snowing powder day where you feel the piece fulness of the mountain, to simply a nice day with friends laughing, pushing ourself and simply having a good time.
What I wish for my racers and students? To be stronger in their sport, to achieve their personal best and believe in themselves! My teaching is focus on passion, positive and constructive feedback, so my athlete can push yourself even more in life and enjoy all aspect of skiing, that each day on the mountain is a magic one! I strive to share my passion all over the world.
A bit about my instructing journey; I became a ski instructor and coach back in 2006, that when a new passion begin. Since then I am a certified level 3 instructor and a level 2 coach. You can find me every weekend sharing my passion and knowledge in Lake Louise resort with the BlackDogs. My personal goal for 2014-2015 is to be a certified level 2/development coach and complete my performance level/level 3.
I look forward to meeting you in this journey either on a ski slope, a mountain bike trail or on our yoga mats.
